Scholarship Description: The Accountancy Research Group encompasses accountancy practice which is a complex, yet necessary part of financial reporting for business and government. Within Economics the Centre for Economic Reform & Transformation (CERT) is the leading centre for the study of economic transition from emerging economies to market economies. A second main strand of work, Energy economics, is particularly relevant in today’s business arena: developing solutions to diverse problems to help face the challenges of climate change. Finance research is undertaken in conjunction with the Centre for Finance & Investment (CFI) that brings together academic and industry expertise in the area of finance and investment. We welcome applications from all areas of study but particularly in the areas of Energy and Financial Markets.
