Marian D’Eve Memorial Scholarship Contest


Scholarship Contest Graduate and a former assistant in the department of electrical engineering and computer science, was Dr. Smith in the creation of HumanWare, a part of Canterbury electronics companies and an international reputation for Braille and Technology voice screen reading software and video-magnification solutions. Dr. Smith was a member of the University of Canterbury Council and patron of the UA Foundation. In 2004, Dr. Smith as a member of the New Zealand Order of Merit in recognition of his career devoted to improving the quality of life of visually impaired people made.
Marian D'Eve was a specialist in early childhood education and author of a handbook for teachers. Also a graduate of the University, was a woman d'Eve, an employee at the Christchurch College of Education Teaching early childhood education, with a passion for educating children with special needs.
Eligibility: Marian D'Eve Memorial
Scholarship Contest will be awarded a student who study, research or development assistance to early childhood special needs, in every discipline.
